About Young Arnolfini

Find out more about Young Arnolfini and how you can get involved.

Collaborative, ambitious, experimental, individual, involved, driven. Young Arnolfini are a collective of local artists and writers aged from 16 – 25 working, learning and living in Bristol. They aim to provide a cultural forum through workshops, blogging and live events to bridge the gap between young people and Bristol’s thriving art scene.

In 2016 Young Arnolfini took over the ground floor gallery at Arnolfini for their second major exhibition. InHabit asked: How can we change our city? What does the future look like? How can we create a space for dialogue?

In 2015 the group had their first major onsite exhibition, in collaboration with Ikon Gallery, Birmingham and Glynn Vivian Gallery Swansea. They have also been involved in running Young People's Festival of Ideas, a series of talks on issues that matter to young people today, in collaboration with Salaam Shalom Youth Council, Rising Arts Agency and Festival of Ideas.

The group also play an active role within the gallery, whether creating Audio Toursexhibition guides or running workshops with families and young people.
