"This is fantastic news for Bristol. Art Fund International is the "missing link" between temporary exhibition spaces such as Arnolfini, with its expertise in commissioning and curating contemporary art, and regional museums, helping to build permanent collections of international art work of world-class quality for future generations."
The Art Fund is committing £5 million to a new initiative aimed at developing the collections of international contemporary art in UK regional museums and galleries.
The scheme aims to change the way in which regional centres can acquire contemporary works of art of international significance.
