Artist Louise Bourgeois dies

Artist Louise Bourgeois died on Monday 31 May at the age of 98. Bourgeois, who only found widespread acclaim late in life, had suffered a heart attack at the weekend. With her death, art has lost a prolific and hugely influential artist, whose career spanned right across the art of the 20th and early 21st Centuries.

Arnolfini currently has work by Louise Bourgeois showing as part of the joint exhibition with artist Otto Zitko Me, Myself and I until 4 July.
