Consultants invited to tender for Arnolfini Interaction Review
Based in Bristol, Arnolfini is one of Europe’s leading independent contemporary arts organisations. It is dedicated to encouraging the practice and knowledge of the contemporary arts and is a dynamic centre for cultural activity and debate. As part of a major new strategic direction, Arnolfini is committed to placing interaction, research and partnership working at the core of its mission. Arnolfini wishes to conduct a fundamental review of its audiences to inform its learning and marketing activity with the aim of placing interaction at the centre.
We are looking for experienced consultants working in the realm of audience development and market research, with an understanding of the creative and cultural sector, to deliver a quantitative and qualitative exploration of current and potential audience, with a particular focus on participation and how this does / could manifest itself at Arnolfini.
The work will take place from April 2010 through to February 2011
Total Fee: The fee available for this is £18,000.

We are currently looking to address under-representation in the following areas of expertise: Fundraising, PR & Marketing, Retail & Enterprise, Live art & dance, Law and Finance. We are also looking to appoint an artist and to increase the cultural diversity of the Board.

Internships
Arnolfini offers a limited number of Internship placements to work on specific projects within the organisation. An internship at Arnolfini provides hands on training in arts management and an overview of operations and is a great opportunity for anyone, over the age of 18, wanting to work in cultural industries. Interns work with all staff, with a clearly defined role and set of duties, exposing them to the whole organisation as well as experience in a specific area (e.g. interaction (learning), interaction (marketing), exhibitions, live art /dance)

The Interaction (Marketing) team are looking to appoint an intern for 3 months, working 3 - 5 days a week. You will work as part of the marketing team which produces and develops all Arnolfini marketing, from press and PR to print and design.
3 months – April/May/June. Closing date for applications is 1 Mar.
