Online Projects

Arnolfini produces online commissions in relation to its curatorial programme and ongoing themes, offering an online space for experimentation and critique often in conjunction with other offline actions. A general concern for the commissions is to respond through artistic critique of social media as a reinvigoration of what was once called net.art. Launched in September 2011, a new platform for our online projects has been developed in collaboration with INTK. We are currently working with 120days of *buntu by Gordan Savicic & Danja Vasiliev, a mash-up of 120 different Ubuntu operating systems (OS), and with INTK on a new commission called unCloud for the Artefact festival in Leuven, Belgium.
