Amanda Barker-Mill

Born: 1938

Studied at Atelier 17, Paris and at the Academie Julien, Paris and the Slade School of Fine Art, London. She painted, taught painting and exhibited in Porthleven, Cornwall 1961-66. She also designed and printed silks in batik for dresses and scarves. After working in the casting department of F Manshaw Limited she taught painting, crafts and jewellery at Hatfield School of Art and Mid-Herts College of Further Education. Amanda Barker-Mill designs and makes jewellery in her own workshop.
