Richard Bonehill

Born in London. Took a pre-diploma course at Hornsey College of Art in 1966, followed by the three year diploma course in jewellery until July 1969. He was commissioned by Alec Brook (Trophies) Limited to submit designs for the Victory and Commemorative medals of the British Empire + Commonwealth Games to be held in Edinburgh in 1970. The designs chosen by the Games Committee have been manufactured in bronze, silver, and silver gilt. Richard Bonehill exhibited in the End or Beginning exhibition at the Craft Centre in July 1969. He plans to set up a design workshop with Lynne Bradshaw when she has completed her three year diploma course at Hornsey College of Art.
