Malcolm Dakin

Born: 1943

Malcolm Dakin was born in Derbyshire. He studied at Derby College of Art 1958- 63. After teaching at an evening institute in Derbyshire in 1963 he worked as a bleacher + dyer in a Derbyshire factory and in 1964 as a night orderly at Derby Royal Infirmary after which he travelled to Dublin, France, Spain and North Africa. He studied painting at the Royal College of Art, London 1964-67and in 1966 worked as a part time assistant to Harold Cohen. In 1967 he 'acted' in the film 'No. Four' by Yoko Ono. He now lives in London where he teaches part time. group exhibitions
