Daniel Rourke

A writer, educator and artist Daniel is involved in several ongoing projects, including writing for, an experimental Noise album, a series of regular podcasts about animated GIFs (each episode lasts no more than 15 seconds) and conference papers and journal articles (After Image, The New City Reader) whilst undertaking a PhD in Art (and writing) Practice at Goldsmiths, London. He is also visiting lecturer in Writing Contexts for the History of Art, Design and Film (BA) at Kingston University, London.

He has co-organised and appeared at numerous academic and art writing events such as the Whitechapel Gallery’s Festival of Art Writing in 2009 and the Goldsmith’s event SpeakingArtWriting also at the Whitechapel in 2012 and recently performed alongside Holly Pester at the Wellcome Trust event ‘The Voice’ co-curated by poet James Wilkes
