Holly Pester is a London-based sound poet and researcher. Her work experiments in frequencies of speech, song and articulated noise.
She has performed at text, art and poetry events including the Prague MicroFestival (2012); Text Festival (2011); Serpentine Poetry Marathon (2009), and was a writer in residence at this year’s dOCUMENTA 13. She has just completed a practice-base PhD in Sound Poetics at Birkbeck, University of London. Holly Pester’s collection, Hoofs, was released with if p then q press in 2011.
