Phil Owen

Phil Owen is a musician and writer based in Bristol. He has an MA in Advanced Musical Studies from the University of Bristol, and a Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music. His current project, ‘where is this voice coming from and who am I when I can hear it?’ is concerned with recording, listening and the appropriation of lost or distant voices. He works at Arnolfini as Research Assistant, and is co-organiser, with Megan Wakefield, of the art and language salon Tertulia.
