Roberts Print is the unimaginatively titled imprint of artist-printmaker Richard Roberts. Lovingly handmade, the books he self-publishes range from one-off artist books to publications in larger editions.
His publications can be found in specialist bookshops like Ti Pi Tin, London and Printed Matter Inc, New York. The Tate Library and Archive purchased his artist-book The Londoners’ Olympics: A Pocket Guide and his work has been highly commended by the William Morris Gallery.
He also sells his own limited-edition prints at a number of galleries including The Calm Gallery, which specialises in prints with a strong typographic flavour, the For Arts Sake gallery which concentrates on modern British printmaking and his own online gallery - robertsprint.co.uk.
Richard exhibits regularly with East London Printmakers, of which he is a long-standing member. When he’s not printing or making books, he works as a printmaking technician at the London College of Communication.
