Join us for a specially devised boat tour to Castle Park, featuring storytelling and experimental theatre – a chance to see a ‘work in progress’ by Traveling Light Summer School (young people aged 7-19 years).

This year the Traveling Light Summer School will be taking its inspiration from Travelling Light’s touring co-production Varmints and Arnolfini’s Seeds of Change: A Floating Ballast Seed Garden an on-going project developed by Brazilian artist Maria Thereza Alves.

The performance will take place in 3 parts: a street performance outside Arnolfini by the 7-12 years group, a ferry journey from Arnolfini to Castle Park with storytelling by the 7-12 years group and finally a performance on the Floating Garden which can be viewed from Castle Park by the 13-19 years group. Audience members who are booked onto the boat tour can then make the return journey to Arnolfini.

Spaces on the ferry are limited. Advanced booking for the boat tour is essential – please call Box Office on 0117 917 2300. Please arrive at Arnolfini box office 15 mins prior to the ferry’s departure.

It will also be possible to view  the 13-19 years group’s section of the Summer School’s ‘work in progress’ from Castle Park, above the Floating Garden by arriving there for 6.45pm, but for the full experience we encourage you to book onto the tour!
