Dive into the world of Claymation. Create whatever fantastic plasticine things take your fancy and, with the help of our professional animators, bring your creations to life!

Led by Bristol-based animator Dominic Pitt.  

Spike Island’s monthly I am Making Art activity sessions are led by artists and take place in the Spike Island Café. Visitors of all ages and abilities can try out new techniques and approaches to making art, from drawing and painting to collage, sculpture and animation and are invited to drop in any time during the session.


Free, booking recommended.


Spike Island is an international centre for the development of contemporary art and design. Based in Bristol, UK, it is home to a gallery, café and working space for artists, designers and creative businesses.
