Bristol Museum & Art Gallery: The Big Draw

Thursday 27 October 2016, 11:00 to 15:00

Pick up a sketching pack and be inspired by Adela Breton’s watercolours of ancient Mexico.

Adela Breton was a remarkable woman who made full size colour copies of the wall paintings in ancient Mexican buildings before they disappeared. Her copies are now the only record of what was there in the 1900s. The Big Draw, organised by The Campaign for Drawing is the world’s biggest drawing festival.

All ages welcome. Drop in.

Bristol Museum & Art Gallery houses world-class collections, from dinosaurs and gems to magnificent fine art and Egyptian artefacts. 20 galleries tell the story of our world from the beginning of time to the present day.
