All The Hues Of Nature: Colour Film and Restoration Screenings

This unique event is designed to showcase examples of rare colour films from the first 50 years of cinema, restored by the BFI and archives around the world. Featuring introductions from leading archivists and historians, the programme highlights both a variety of original colour processes and of restoration techniques. Films include Claude Friese-Greene’s The Open Road and Humphrey Jennings’ documentary on designer Norman Hartnell’s spring fashion collection, Making Fashion.
