The inimitable Matt Harvey returns to Bristol fresh from his conquest of the Edinburgh festival. Poems for people who thought they didn’t like poetry! Poems about lonely hearts, tea-bags, religious conversions, gradients, gigabytes, curtains, free verse and lots more. Matthew Caley’s poetry is like an electrically shocked magpie, crackling and cackling with linguistic inventiveness, sparks of high and low culture flying off at all angles. Rosy Carrick is a Brighton based performer and MC. She is a leading exponent of today’s spoken word scene and her work is dark and humorous.
