A programme of film and events to accompany C Words: Carbon, Climate, Capital, Culture - an exhibition by artist-activist group PLATFORM and their collaborators.

Three Canadian First Nations women speak on the impact on their lives and  communities of 'the most destructive project on Earth' - the Tar Sands. Eriel Tchekwie Deranger, Heather Milton-Lightening and Melina Laboucan-Massimo give first-hand accounts of the devastating impacts of these massive oil extraction projects on the Athabascan Chipewyan, Lubicon Cree and other communities.

These powerful speakers will show how we are involved in these projects through companies such as Shell and BP, and the UK financial system and how we can act to halt the Tar Sands.
