Performance Writing: JR Carpenter

JR Carpenter is a poet, essayist, fiction writer and web artist. Using the internet as a medium, her work is informed by notions of place. Maps and mapping feature strongly in her web based projects operating, often simultaneously as images, interfaces and metaphors for distant places and surrogate histories. A showcase of JR Carpenter’s web based projects will be in the Dark Studio and a selection of her work with Dartington students will be on display in the bookshop.
