Offsite - St John on the Wall: Colour in the Crypt

Monday 24 October 2016, 11:00 to 15:00
Free

Discover the lost colour from our medieval crypt. Free family craft activities, including kaleidoscope and spinning top making, dressing up and medieval toys

In medieval times, St John on the Wall would have been very colourful inside, but now that colour has gone. Join us at this family arts event to put the colour back into the church and crypt - make a kaleidoscope to see how this colour would have looked, watch the colour disappear with your own spinning top, enjoy dressing up and play some medieval games.

All ages welcome. Free, drop in.

The Churches Conservation Trust is the national heritage charity protecting historic churches at risk. Discover medieval Bristol at St John on the Wall - the church built into the old city walls.
