Curator Omar Kholeif takes us on a potted journey, which seeks to consider the form and aesthetics inherent within contemporary political activism.

Kholeif will delve into work of Cairo-based activist collective Mosireen and share video works from artists including Wafaa Bilal, Huw Lemmey and Queer Technologies. Kholeif will also be screening clips from of Crop (2013) a creative documentary, which explores the role that images played in the Egyptian Revolution of 2011. The film is directed by Johanna Domke and Marouan Omara.
