Start your early May bank holiday weekend with an evening of new art courtesy of Bristol’s Harbourside cultural venues.

Joining forces for the second year in a row, five venues present new works by some of the most exciting artists working in Bristol and beyond.

Bristol Diving School, 8pm–late

Bristol's Ferryboats runs a shuttle service between Arnolfini and SS Great Britain(a short walk to Spike Island) 6pm–9pm. Tickets are £2 single, £3 return.

From 9pm, everyone is invited to Spike Island for a joint afterparty with music, drinks and dancing till late. “Mad maximalist” Bobby Tank headlines with a set of his own unique brand of poppy electrofunk, described by the Guardian as “beats and squeaks, shimmering keyboard twirls and pummelling electronic bass riffs”. Also on hand to keep partygoers afloat with their spinning records are members of the Howling Owl Records gang and Randek.
