With: Jack Pender
Born in Mousehole, Cornwall, 1918. Started to paint in 1936 and went to the Penzance School of Art in 1938. At the end of the war spent a short time in Greece at the Athens School of Art and then the Exeter College of Art.
Member of the Newlyn Society of Artists and the Penwith Society of Arts. Has exhibited regularly in St. Ives, Plymouth and London. His work was first shown at the Arnolfini Gallery in the 1962 exhibition of West Penwith Painters and Sculptors.
