Wednesday 18 & Thursday 19 December 7.30pm – 11.00pm at Arnolfini Café Bar
Live Chat
Paul Clarke and Duncan Speakman
Taking place simultaneously at Arnolfini Café Bar and Watershed’s Digital Café, Live Chat explores possible relationships between real and virtual social spaces, where cyberspace overflows into the everyday. In the ‘live’ context of Arnolfini, chatroom dialogue will be reproduced live by performers in the bar and video-streamed back to the web. Cross the bridge over to Watershed’s Digital Café and join in the online chat. Produced with digital artist Duncan Speakman, Live Chat is the first public outcome of Paul Clarke’s Matrix Reflective Practitioner bursary. This is an experimental project and responses from audiences will feed into its development.
