Performance artist Martha Wilson is founding director of Franklin Furnace Archive Inc., a museum she established in her New York loft in 1976, which presents, preserves and champions temporal forms: performance art, temporary installation and artists’ books. Martha Wilson will discuss the dilemmas
of documenting performance and preserving time-based art, including works by Laurie Anderson, Gina Pane, William Pope.L, Karen Finley, Tehching Hsieh, Jenny Holzer and William Wegman.
