Me, Myself and I brings together the psychologically-charged drawings of Louise Bourgeois with a site-specific drawing intervention by Otto Zitko, improvised across the interior walls of Arnolfini. Both artists, through their contrasting approaches, seek to explore subjective relations to the world around them. This major installation is Zitko’s first exhibition in the UK. In response to his expansive approach, Bourgeois presents an intensely personal suite of sixty drawings entitled JE T’AIME (2005), in Gallery Five. Alongside these recent works, Bourgeois includes a drawing from 1946, made when she was 34 years-old.

Presented with the support of Cheim & Read, New York and Krobath Vienna/Berlin.
Part of Arnolfini’s Lingua Franca series of exhibitions and events.
