Tue 1 Dec 6.00pm
Tue Greenfort is a Danish artist and environmentalist whose practice is driven by ecology and the politics of change. Using a diverse array of materials he seeks to reveal the forces that shape our environment and how the natural world manifests itself in today’s highly urbanized cities. His works are primarily site-specific and emerge from a probing study (historically, socially and economically). Recent projects include Frieze Art Fair, Creative Time NY, and Skulptur Projekte Münster where the artist simulated a technical solution for cleaning Lake Aa, polluted from intensified agriculture in the area. Tue will talk about his practice and his emerging project for Bristol’s Floating Harbour with Will Anderson, senior researcher at the Centre for Sustainable Energy.
