Behaviour, a 10 piece experimental acoustic, electronic, and digital sonic ensemble will perform at May’s Several 2nds session.

In their performances, a detailed sound palette is created from analogue sound processors, hand-made and ‘circuit bent’ electronic instruments, real-time laptop software environments, adapted DJ mixers, and delicate manipulations of amplified sounding objects using contact microphones and coil pick-ups.

Tonight’s concert will explore the full dynamic range of pin-drop fragility to occasional cascades of complex noise, and include a combination of improvisation and original strategy driven compositions. Behaviour comprises of year three Creative Music Technology students from Bath Spa University, devised and directed by electro-acoustic improviser Andy Keep.
