There will be presentations and discussion exploring play, object relations and affective machines, with contributions from Victoria de Rijke (Middlesex University) Claire Pajaczkowska (Royal College of Art), Seth Giddings and Helen Kennedy (both University of the West of England). Dylan Evans (Cork University) will discuss human-robot relationships and Natalie Jeremijenko, artist contributor to Supertoys, will discuss her Feral Robots projects. Chaired by Paul Hoggett, Director of the Centre for Psycho-Social Studies, UWE, this event is aimed at anyone with an interest in toys and play, object relations, teaching and pedagogy and artificial intelligence. This interdisciplinary event will be of particular interest to those involved with teaching, robotics and child psychology.
