A truly unique composer whose music encompasses multiple genres, Surinder Sandhu experiments with styles from jazz, modern classical and Asian fusion, his supreme songcraft and exceptional band underpinned by his sarangi, an ancient Indian instrument whose sound is often likened to that of the human voice. His last album, The Fictionist, was released last year to widespread acclaim. Tonight he performs a two hour set.
