As a further extension of Arnolfinis support for artists professional development, we are holding our first international residency programme. Finnish dancer and choreographer Susanna Leinonen will use this residency to explore the more radical edges of her practice. In Finland, the country of a million saunas, bathing is rare. Leinonen will develop a work based around the culture of bathing and its particular cultural resonances. This work-in-progress is an opportunity to see the piece at an early stage in its development.
Funded by the Finnish Institute in London, the Arts Council of Finland and Arts Council of England.
£3.00 / £2.00 concessions
There will be an informal post-show discussion with the artist after the performance. All welcome.
