Whilst Eisensteins visually astonishing Battleship Potemkin represents an attempt at the liberation of the Russian working classes, Disco music went three better than Marx and included blacks, women and gays - sometimes all at once. This seasons jazz battle sees the Birdman of Alkijazz (aka musician Tony Orrell) digging deep into his crates to take on Bellatrix (the first and only female at the UK Human Beatbox Championships) in a brave attempt to unite these ideologies. With thanks to the Department of Parallel Politics of the University of Ibiza.
