Following their work-in-progress presented at Arnolfini in the summer, The Special Guests return to present the finished Nightfall, a new time-specific performance.
Join them as the day draws to a close and the sun slips beneath the horizon, to experience the inevitable shift from day to night. Using the language of classroom physics and practical demonstrations, a pseudo goth tells us why light can be harmful, whilst a night-owl accompanies us into the small hours. Exploring humanity, transition and the shifting borders between science, philosophy and theatre, Nightfall playfully reminds us of the temporal and physical world around us.
The Special Guests are Arnolfini Associate Artists. Nightfall is funded by Arts Council England. www.thespecialguests.co.uk
