The Tate Movie Project is the first of its kind – an animated film made by and for children. Over the last year Tate, CBBC and Aardman Animations have been collaborating on this uniquely ambitious project, calling out for children across the UK to get drawing and thinking of fantastic ideas for the film. Kids were invited to take part by attending animation workshops in a nationwide road show which visited Arnolfini last year, and by submitting their artwork via the Tate Movie Project’s interactive website.
Tate Movie Project presents The Itch of the Golden Nit – a half-hour film showcasing the artwork of thousands of children, and featuring the voice talent of David Walliams, Miranda Hart, Harry Enfield and Catherine Tate. This is a special screening for Arnolfini.
