For Summer 2019, Arnolfini is coming to life with Fluffy Library, an installation by visiting Greek artist Antigoni Tsagkaropoulou – her giant furry monster, ‘Fluffy’, is taking up residence, spreading itself out across the gallery, and eating all the books.

At the end of January Arnolfini announced the first stage of its transition to a refreshed organisation as a subsidiary charity of the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol). This decision, coupled with the continued support of Arts Council England has created a platform for the next stage in its 55 year journey.

Arnolfini announces today that it plans to enter a new partnership with the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) as a subsidiary charitable incorporated organisation (CIO), significantly improving Arnolfini’s ongoing financial position and greatly increasing the chances of securing a new long-term funding relationship with Arts Council England.
