Arnolfini and UWE Partnership

Arnolfini and UWE agree major new partnership to enhance the cultural offer on the harbourside in Bristol

We announced today an exciting new partnership between Arnolfini and UWE which will enhance the cultural offer on the harbourside in Bristol. The combined creativity and resources of our two organisations will enable us to jointly offer a more dynamic programme of exhibitions, talks and other activities to students of UWE and visitors to the Arnolfini, offering an exciting new future for the gallery.

We will be able to say more about what the partnership will look like in a few months’ time but the collaboration will mean Arnolfini and UWE come together to share resources and facilities and collaborate on programming and education workshops, seminars and events as well as academic research. We have had huge support for this partnership from Bristol City Council and the Arts Council and we all believe that by working together we can offer more to visitors to Arnolfini, students at UWE, and the city of Bristol.

The partnership builds on existing work together which includes the UWE Fine Art/Art in the City Lecture Series. The next talk planned in this series is on 21 January with artist Josephine Pryde.
