Arnolfini at The Bristol Festival of Nature

In June 2013 Arnolfini took part in the Festival of Nature’s special 10th anniversary celebrations to share our project ‘Seeds of Change’ based on an artwork by Brazilian artist Maria Thereza Alves

For the Festival of Nature, Arnolfini collaborated with the University of Bristol Centre for Public Engagement and University of Bristol Botanic Garden to share the work of the ‘Seeds of Change’ project to date and invite visitors to share their own international and local stories that link them to Bristol. Highlights of the Festival included; a dedicated schools day, specially devised boat tours to the Floating Garden by international storyteller Cassandra Wye and the reinvention of artist Matti Braun’s R.T/S.R/V.S artwork, exhibited at Arnolfini in 2012, to create a temporary ballast seed garden for the Festival of Nature. In total over 5000 visitors visited us at the Festival. If you were one of those visitors, please tell us what you thought by emailing
