Arnolfini: Bristol Family Arts Festival Finale - Relaxed opening

Saturday 28 October 2017, 12:00 to 13:00

Booking required Book

Enjoy the Family Arts Festival Finale at a relaxed early opening

Join Arnolfini, Architecture Centre, Children's Scrapstore and Bristol Doors Open Days for a fun packed day of activity to celebrate Bristol Family Arts Festival.

From 12-1 we will be open for families to enjoy the activity in a relaxed environment. Spaces are limited so please book your place. From 1-4pm the workshop will be open to all.

Get creative and experiment with ideas, games and ways of making as we take over the auditorium for the traditional Festival Finale extravaganza. Create fantastic costumes inspired by architectural alter-egos and strut your stuff through our scrap-tastic cat walk.

This session is particularly suitable for neurodiverse children and families, children with autism or additional needs who may find it easier to enjoy the activity in a calmer environment. Families are welcome to come for the early opening and stay for as long as they would like into the afternoon worskhop.

To book your place or to talk to someone about what to expect from the event or how we can make it more accessible for you or your children please contact:

Most suitable for 5+ but all are welcome to have a go. Please book for all members of your party.

The workshop takes place in the auditorium, which is a black box space designed for theatre and performances. There will be changing coloured lights, as well as lots of different types of materials for making with.
