Pay what you think

A celebration of Bristol’s maritime past with events for all ages at M Shed and Underfall Yard.

Go up in the cranes, take a trip around the harbour on the John King diesel tug, experience life as a docker and learn the techniques of cargo handling as dramatic performances bring the story alive.

Travel in style between M Shed and Underfall Yard by jumping aboard a dedicated ferry or vintage bus for just £1.50 per journey.

M Shed

Housed within a 1950s dockside transit shed, M Shed is an exciting and innovative new museum for Bristol telling the story of the city through the stories of people who helped shape it. Rich collections of objects, art and archives bring these stories to life in three galleries: Bristol Places, Bristol People and Bristol Life. Ride M Shed's largest exhibits - the cranes, train and boats. There is also a temporary gallery displaying changing exhibitions throughout the year.
Address: Princes Wharf, Wapping Road, BS1 4RN.

All our family events aim to be welcoming and accessible to all. If is a way we can make our events more accessible for you or your children please call us 0117 352 6600.
