Collaborations include: Ring (2013) a binaural sound piece with director David Rosenberg (BAC, tour, Brighton Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival); Hannah Ringham's Free Show (bring money) (2011) with performer Hannah Ringham (BAC, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Soho Theatre, tour); Hide (2007), with designer Lizzie Clachan (for the re-opening of the Royal Festival Hall); and with Ant Hampton: Romcom (2003) (Buenos Aires, Berlin, Zurich, Krakow, London, Stralsund, Frankfurt, Dublin, Glasgow, Evora and Groningen; new 2011 version:
Basel and The Gate Theatre in London); and The Bench (2010) / Hello for Dummies (2011) (Texas, Seville, Norwich, Taunton, Groningen, Ghent, Derby, Kortrijk, Edinburgh, Lincoln and Auckland).

Other stage plays include The Superheroes (2007) and an adaptation of Max Frisch’s novel, Gantenbein (2006) produced in Berlin and Zurich. Plays for BBC Radio 4: Listen Up (2009), Six Impossible Things (2010), Occupied (with John Jordan, 2012) and The Long Count (2012). Sound installation pieces: The Breach (2008) for the Manifesta European Biennial of Contemporary Art and Body considering its pains (2010) at the Shunt Lounge, ICA and First Fortnight Festival, Dublin. He has published two novels: The Outgoing Man (2005) and The Fat Plan (2008).
