Jennifer Kabat

Jennifer Kabat is an essayist and writer in upstate New York equally interested in writing on subjects from rural life to contemporary art – and occasionally the two together.

She was awarded a Creative Capital Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant in support of her arts criticism, and her work has appeared in the Believer, the Financial Times, the Guardian, Wired, Wallpaper, New York magazine, The Rumpus and Salon. She writes frequently for Frieze and Metropolis, where she is a contributing editor.
