Started in 1984, John Bently’s Liver & Lights series is an ongoing chronicle of ordinary things to offset our extraordinary times. Over the years the books have been fanzines, manifestos, travelogues, illustrated books and celebrations of a rusty campervan, mundane household objects, London transport, late fathers, children, friends, neighbours and strangers.
