Survey by Qualaroo

This spring we're launching a new programme - Now or Never - with young people working alongside decision-makers and artists to produce creative proposals to address Bristol's major issues.

Playful, serious, bold and public, Now or Never responds to the urgent need for young people to be more involved in shaping the future through creative actions in the present.

Managed by Kirtis Clarke (21) and Letty Clarke (27) we will use artistic strategies together to scrutinise, shift and shape the future. During 2018, we will deliver three projects in schools and colleges across Bristol. Students from each project will work in collaboration with an artist over an intense period of five weeks to create ambitious new work which might culminate in any form - from a billboard campaign for a new cultural policy to a fashion collection that tackles how to negotiate Brexit.

Following these intensives, we'll be asking 15-18 year olds from across the city to join a new collective that will meet once a week for 6 months, working within artists and Arnolfini to create and propose physical and social change.

In addition, we will be delivering artist-led workshops in five additional schools and colleges across Bristol, getting to know students from across the city.

Further details to follow shortly. Keep in contact via our mailing list or follow progress on Instagram to find out more.
