Screening of Pink Narcissus (James Bidgood, 1971, 18+) with live performances exploring the film’s themes by artists including Panic Lab, Liz Clarke and Paul Hurley.

An american arthouse drama about the erotic reveries of a gay male prostitute in his Manhattan apartment, this is a unique experience in visual fantasy, shot in 8mm film with kitsch interiors,  bright, otherworldly lighting and unsettling, saturated colour.

Beacons, Icons and Dykons is an ode to gay and queer cinema. A film is screened alongside performances, talks and a diverse range of entertainment inspired by the themes and heroes. From Dolly Parton to Diana Ross, John Walters and Kenneth Anger, we’re honouring them all, one by one.

Beacons, Icons and Dykons have joined forces with Ausform Micro-Fest to create an after party featuring hyper-real music, dancing and hit & run performances! More details HERE

Beacons, Icons and Dykons is curated by performance maker Tom Marshman.
