Serpent’s Tail, Bitter Lemon Press and Arcadia bring you Bloody Foreigners, an evening of readings and discussion featuring some of the finest European crime writers in translation.

Gianrico Carofiglio is an anti-mafia judge in Bari. His debut novel, Involuntary Witness, is a tale of murder, small town racism and the workings of the Italian courts.

A member of the Helsinki police force, Matti Joensuu is one of the Nordic countries’ leading crime writers.

Dominique Manotti’s first novel, Rough Trade, was awarded the top prize for the best thriller of the year by the French Crime Writers Association.

The evening will be chaired by Joolz Denby
