Founded in 1990 by Alistair McAuley and Paul Simmons, Timorous Beasties is noted for its surreal and provocative textiles and wallpapers. Ali McAuley of Timorous Beasties will talk about their practice as well as the work they have created for Cabot Circus. For Bristol they have introduced a sandblasted ‘wallpaper’ onto one of the main building elevations on Bond Street, the principal road which wraps around the scheme.

The Bristol Public Art Lecture Series, organised by Arnolfini and Bristol City Council, is a programme of events focusing on public art commissioning in Bristol beginning with the public art programme at Cabot Circus. The series will be introduced by Jim Dixon, Urban Archaeologist.
