Tuesday 14 – Thursday 16 October
Exhibition: Pot Doodle
This exhibition is the result of a unique eight-day art collaboration between Arnolfini and Hengrove Community Arts College and Post 16 Centre, which explored drawing. What can drawing be? What is it made of? Why do it? These were just some of the questions explored by thirty Year 10 students as they worked with six different artists. Amongst other activities they went on a journey of mark-making through Bristol city centre, produced a creative documentary about drawing and explored scale through making giant projections of each other’s houses. This exhibition was planned and curated with the students and is open to the public by appointment. To see what the students have achieved, arrange a viewing with Amanda Harman on 0117 377 2800 ext 268.
