WE ARE FAMILY | PROTEST BANNERS WITH FEMINIST ARCHIVE SOUTH

Sunday 08 December 2019, 13:00 to 16:00
Free

Bring your family together to make your own protest banners with Feminist Archive South's Education Coordinator, Ellie O’Connell and artist Bryony Gillard.

We invite you to create a call to arms for the change you’d like to see in the world. Make noise and make mess together as a family!

In this hands on workshop you will create your own protest banners and flags, inspired by the activists and artists in Still I Rise and materials from Feminist Archive South. Arnolfini will provide all the tools you need to make your banners.

Fun for all ages but perfect for 3 – 11 year olds, this is a drop in workshop and all are welcome. We suggest wearing clothes you don’t mind getting messy.

All our family events aim to be welcoming and accessible to all. If there are ways we can make our events more accessible for you or your children please contact information.assistant@arnolfini.org.uk

There is wheelchair access throughout the building. We can provide backed-seating. We have accessible and gender neutral toilets as well as baby changing facilities and buggy park.

The nearest parking spaces for blue badge parking is at the Grove car park.

This event is Fantastic for Families. Our Galleries are family friendly and we encourage families to investigate our exhibitions together. There will be Family Activity Packs available in our gallery spaces.

Description of the image at the top of the page: Handmade badges are pinned to a white jumper with a gold sequin star. The badges read 'Girl Power', 'Women are Awesome' and 'Girls Rule OK'.
