Offsite - Bristol Museum & Art Gallery: The Imagination Museum

Saturday 22 October 2016, 11:00 to 15:30
Free

A promenade dance piece designed to take you into an imaginative world of movement based on different museum objects.

The Imagination Museum is a promenade dance piece aimed at children and families which has been designed for performances in museums and heritage sites as part of the Dancing in Museums project.

Three eccentric tour-guide characters work in The Imagination Museum, Mildred (the boss), Henry (the mischievous one) and Harriet (the imaginative one). They greet the audience and introduce them to an imaginative world of movement based on different museum objects.

The piece has been created in collaboration with writer/poet Anna Selby and composer Max Perryment. The dancers speak and move throughout the performance.

All ages welcome. Drop in.
