Framing the Future – Young Earthwatcher Film Competition Final. Join the environmentalists, presenters and natural history filmmakers of the future at this special event hosted by Earthwatch Europe.

Young people today will inherit a world shaped by our actions over the next decade, so providing platforms through which their voices can be heard is of utmost importance. That’s why Earthwatch Europe teamed up with Wildscreen to launch the first Young Earthwatcher Film Competition this summer. Inviting teenagers aged 14 to 17 to create a short film highlighting an environmental issue close to their heart along with a solution to the challenge, this competition encouraged an engaging mix of creativity, technology and environmental action.

During our ‘Framing the future’ session, we will be premiering the environmental short films created by our talented young finalists. A diverse panel of professionals, including CBBC’s Naomi Wilkinson, will be on hand to discuss the films and ultimately select the overall winner to be crowned Young Earthwatcher of 2018.

Keep your eyes peeled in the coming weeks for news on our other panellists!
